I'm trying to figure out if I have piriformis syndrome. My low right back hurts as well as my glutes. When I flex my hip to 90 degrees and abduct it I can only go about 45 degrees before it is painful. I can externally rotate my right leg fine with no pain. Does this mean I most likely have piriformis syndrome because I can't abduct my flexed right leg? Would stretching it help at all you think?
