My mother reccomended that I position myself over our soft piano bench, and gently lay my back over it, keeping my feet on the ground for leverage and moving slowly down the vertebre. The width of it is approx. the length of my spine, except the lower lumbar area when it tips. Sometimes I will push the floor away with my feet while simultaneously pulling on the piano in front of me with my back completely straight against the bench (except that lower area with the natural curve.) Is this healthy?
